Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – School-Based Position
Soliant Health is currently seeking a qualified Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a full-time position in a school district for the 2025-2026 academic year. This role involves working closely with licensed Physical Therapists to support students' gross motor development and functional mobility within the school setting.
Responsibilities:
Assist in evaluating students' gross motor development skills to determine their needs
Implement treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
Support students in improving strength, coordination, and mobility for school participation
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to promote student success
Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress
Ensure compliance with school district and state guidelines for therapy services
Qualifications:
Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
Active or pending state PTA license
Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations preferred
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to follow treatment plans and adapt interventions as needed
This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) for the 2025-2026 school year.
