Full-Time School Physical Therapist (PT) – Riverside, CA

Blazer Jobs is currently interviewing experienced School Physical Therapists (PT) for a full-time role with school districts in the Riverside, CA area. We are seeking professionals dedicated to helping students achieve their physical and mobility goals, improving their ability to participate fully in school activities.

Responsibilities:

As a School Physical Therapist, your key responsibilities will include:

Assessing students' physical and mobility needs to support their educational goals.

Developing individualized treatment plans based on assessments, addressing posture, balance, coordination, and motor skills.

Providing direct physical therapy services to students, both individually and in groups.

Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create inclusive learning environments.

Monitoring student progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed.

Documenting therapy sessions, progress reports, and IEP-related services.

Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and contributing to Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).

Requirements:

To apply, candidates must meet all California state and local requirements, including:

Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent from an accredited program.

Valid California Physical Therapist License issued by the Physical Therapy Board of California (PTBC).

Completion of all necessary background checks and fingerprinting as required by the school district and state regulations.

Familiarity with special education laws, including IDEA and IEP processes.

Prior experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
