Sunbelt Staffing, a leading healthcare staffing agency, is currently seeking a qualified Physical Therapist (PT) for a full-time contract position in Athens, GA. Our client, a reputable nationwide home health agency, is looking for a dedicated professional to join their team and provide high-quality patient care in the home health setting.

Job Details:

  • Company: Sunbelt Staffing
  • Client: Nationwide Home Health Agency
  • Location: Athens, GA 
  • Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week
  • Shift: Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM (with one weekend on-call)
  • Compensation: Negotiable pay based on territory budget and experience
  • Benefits: Mileage reimbursement, medical, dental, vision, and 401k (after 90 days) 250-300 miles per week of expected travel 
  • Productivity: 32 per week 

    Requirements:

  • Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in the state of Georgia
  • Active American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • At least one year of home health experience
  • Proficiency in Homecare Homebase (HCHB) software is required

    Job Duties:

  • Assist patients in improving mobility, strength, and range of motion through therapeutic exercises and activities
  • Monitor and document patients' progress, making adjustments as necessary based on patient response to therapy
  • Collaborate with the home health team to ensure comprehensive patient care, including communication with physicians, nurses, and family members
  • Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs and safe mobility techniques
  • Ensure compliance with all home health regulations and documentation standards

    Important Note: Due to this being a contract opportunity with limited training, one year of experience and proficiency in Homecare Homebase are required for consideration.
