Contract Details: 

  • Company: Sunbelt Staffing, on behalf of a nationwide home health agency.
  • Position: Full-time Home Health Physical Therapist (PT)
  • Location: Rosedale, MD 
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, with one weekend per month on call
  • Compensation: Negotiable hourly rate based on territory budget and candidate experience, with mileage reimbursement of .48c visit to visit. Weekly pay. 
  • Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k after 90 days of employment. 
  • Productivity: 30 per week, 50-200 miles per week of expected travel 

    Job Requirements: 

  • Active licensure as a Physical Therapist in Maryland. 
  • Active American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in home health physical therapy.
  • Proficiency with Homecare Homebase (HCHB) software, Oasis, and Outlook Point Care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain productivity standards of 30 units per week.

    Job Responsibilities: 

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of patients' physical conditions and functional limitations within their homes.
  • Developing personalized treatment plans focused on enhancing mobility, reducing pain, and improving overall function.
  • Providing skilled physical therapy interventions, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and gait training.
  • Collaborating closely with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care.
  • Educating patients and caregivers on proper techniques, safety measures, and home exercise programs to support ongoing progress.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of patient evaluations, treatment interventions, and outcomes using electronic health record systems.
