Contract Details: 

  • Company: Sunbelt Staffing, on behalf of a nationwide home health agency.
  • Position: Full-time Home Health Physical Therapist (PT)
  • Location: Sylacauga, AL 
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, with one weekend per month on call
  • Compensation: Negotiable hourly rate based on territory budget and candidate experience, with .48C mileage reimbursement visit to visit. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and 401k after 90 days. Weekly pay.

    Job Description: 

  • Conducting comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical conditions and developing individualized treatment plans.
  • Providing skilled physical therapy services in accordance with physician orders.
  • Regularly assessing patient progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Educating patients and their families on therapeutic exercises and activities to promote optimal recovery and independence.
  • Documenting all patient care activities accurately and timely using Homecare Homebase (HCHB) software, including Oasis and Outlook Point Care.

    Job Requirements: 

  • Active licensure as a Physical Therapist in Alabama.
  • Active American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in home health physical therapy.
  • Proficiency with Homecare Homebase (HCHB) software, Oasis, and Outlook Point Care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain productivity standards of 30 units per week.

    Please Note: Due to this being a contract opportunity with limited training, proficiency in Oasis and Homecare Homebase are required for consideration.
