Blazer Jobs is currently interviewing experienced Physical Therapists for a full-time position with school districts in the Piedmont, California area. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to support students' physical development and access to education in a collaborative and student-focused environment.


Position Details:

  • Location: Piedmont, CA

  • Schedule: Full-time, on-site

  • Contract: 2025-2026 school year with potential for renewal based on performance


    Requirements:

    To qualify, applicants must meet all California state and local requirements, including:

  • Doctorate or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program

  • Valid California Physical Therapist License issued by the Physical Therapy Board of California (PTBC)

  • Certification from the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE)

  • Active CPR certification

  • Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred

  • Must pass background check and fingerprint clearance


    Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate students’ motor function and physical needs in an educational setting

  • Develop and implement individualized physical therapy treatment plans and goals

  • Provide direct therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs

  • Collaborate with IEP teams, educators, and family members to support student success

  • Adapt environments and recommend equipment to promote accessibility

  • Document services and maintain compliance with federal, state, and district policies

  • Monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed
