Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist (PT) for a full-time position in Sanford, NC, for the 2024/2025 school year. This role involves providing onsite physical therapy services to a diverse K-12 student population, focusing on helping students achieve their optimal level of physical functioning in the school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Therapeutic Services: Provide direct physical therapy services to students, addressing mobility, gross motor skills, and other physical challenges.
  • Assessment & Evaluation: Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to develop individualized treatment plans that meet each student’s unique needs.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support the implementation of therapy goals in the classroom.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of student progress, therapy sessions, and communications with stakeholders.
  • IEP Participation: Contribute to the development and monitoring of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), ensuring alignment with therapy goals.

    Qualifications:

  • Licensure: Must hold an active North Carolina Physical Therapist (PT) license.
  • Experience: Experience working with a K-12 population in a school setting is preferred.
  • Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
