Location: Longview, WA Area

Blazer Jobs is currently interviewing experienced and qualified Physical Therapists for a full-time role within school districts in the Longview, WA area. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to support students' physical development and educational access in a collaborative school-based setting.

Required Qualifications:
Applicants must meet all local and state certification and education requirements to be considered for this position:

  • Hold a Doctorate or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program

  • Possess an active Washington State Physical Therapist License issued by the Washington State Department of Health

  • Must have prior experience working as a Physical Therapist, preferably in a school-based or pediatric setting

  • Successfully complete all Washington Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI) requirements, including:

  • Fingerprinting and background check through OSPI

  • Compliance with any district-specific onboarding or training mandates

  • Adhere to all applicable federal, state, and local education guidelines and therapy standards

    Typical Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations for students with physical disabilities or developmental delays

  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to improve motor skills, mobility, and access to educational environments

  • Collaborate with IEP teams, teachers, families, and other related service providers

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions, progress, and required reporting

  • Participate in IEP meetings and help determine appropriate accommodations and goals

  • Educate staff and caregivers on mobility strategies, adaptive equipment, and classroom modifications
