We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate School-Based Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team in Huntsville, AL. This role offers the opportunity to work in a supportive and collaborative environment, making a significant impact on students' lives.

Position Overview: As a School-Based Physical Therapist (PT) with ProCare Therapy, you will provide comprehensive physical therapy services to students in a school setting. You will work closely with students, teachers, parents, and other school staff to develop and implement individualized therapy plans that support students' educational goals and promote their overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments to identify students' functional needs related to fine motor skills, sensory processing, and activities of daily living.

Provide direct physical therapy services to students, utilizing evidence-based practices.

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to integrate therapeutic strategies into the classroom environment.

Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.

Educate and support school staff and parents on techniques to support students' physical therapy needs.

Qualifications:

Current Physical Therapist (PT) license in the state of AL.

Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.

Experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations is preferred.

Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
