Full-Time Physical Therapist (PT) – Yelm, WA
Blazer Jobs is currently seeking a qualified and experienced Physical Therapist for a full-time, school-based contract position in Yelm, WA for the upcoming 2025–2026 school year. This role will support students across multiple campuses, and travel between schools will be required.
Position Details:
Location: Yelm, WA
Schedule: Full-Time, On-site
Contract Term: Full 2025–2026 school year
Travel: Required between school locations (mileage reimbursement may be available)
Minimum Requirements:
Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy
Active Washington State Physical Therapist license
Must meet all state and district qualifications for school-based practice
Experience working with special education students and families is highly preferred
Reliable transportation and ability to travel between school sites
Typical Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments to determine students' physical therapy needs and eligibility
Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in collaboration with IEP teams
Provide direct physical therapy services to students, supporting mobility, posture, and classroom access
Monitor and document student progress toward therapy goals
Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to optimize student performance and participation
Train and support school personnel on use of adaptive equipment and safe movement strategies
Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal regulations
