Key Responsibilities:
Conduct physical therapy evaluations to determine students’ needs.
Develop and implement treatment plans to enhance students’ motor functions.
Work closely with school staff and families to ensure the best outcomes for students.
Maintain documentation and comply with all educational and healthcare regulations.
Qualifications:
Doctorate or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
Must possess an active Florida Physical Therapist License.
Certification from the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) is preferred.
At least one year of experience in a school-based setting.
