Discipline: Physical Therapy (PT)

Dates: June 2, 2025 – June 26, 2025 (No school on June 19th)

Hours: ONLY 4 hours per week during Extended School Year (ESY) times: Monday - Thursday, 7:40 AM - 12:30 PM

Our supportive school district in Algonquin, IL, is seeking a dedicated and passionate Contract Physical Therapist to provide essential services to our K-12 ESY students. This is a unique opportunity to utilize your skills and enjoy a flexible schedule during the summer months.

    Caseload/Details:

  • Very manageable caseload: ONLY 4 hours per week!
  • Work with K-12 students participating in the Extended School Year (ESY) program.
  • This is a fantastic opportunity to focus your expertise and make a direct impact in a short timeframe.

    We Value Your Expertise:

    Preference will be given to candidates with experience working with students with autism and knowledge in one or more of the following areas:

  • Sensory tools and diets
  • PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System) and Visual supports
  • Assistive Technology
  • Data collection
  • Relevant clinical experience

  • A strong commitment to providing high-quality physical therapy services to students with diverse needs.
  • Excellent assessment, treatment planning, and implementation skills.
  • The ability to collaborate effectively with school staff, parents, and other related service providers.
  • A proactive and solution-oriented approach.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

    Compensation:

    We recognize the value of your expertise and are offering the average competitive hourly rate of $38-$46 based on experience for a contract physical therapist.
