School-Based Physical Therapist (PT) – Part-Time Contract
Location: Lawrence, MA
Schedule: August 11, 2025 – June 17, 2026

Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing for a part-time Physical Therapist to support a K–8 caseload in the Lawrence, MA area for the upcoming 2025–2026 school year. This is a contract position in a school-based setting that involves traveling between multiple campuses within the district.

Position Summary:
The ideal candidate will be a licensed Physical Therapist with experience working with children in educational or pediatric settings. This role focuses on supporting students' motor development, mobility, and physical access to educational environments. Collaboration with IEP teams, educators, and families is an essential component of the position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for K–8 students

  • Deliver direct therapy services based on IEP goals and students’ physical needs

  • Travel between schools in the district to serve students in multiple settings

  • Monitor and document progress, updating goals and services as necessary

  • Consult with special education staff and families to promote carryover and access to physical education and daily routines

  • Support adaptations and accommodations for mobility, positioning, and school participation

  • Maintain accurate records in compliance with state and federal education regulations

    Candidate Requirements:

  • Valid Massachusetts Physical Therapist license

  • Must meet all local and state requirements for school-based PT services

  • Prior experience working with K–8 or pediatric populations preferred

  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills

  • Experience with special education students and families is highly preferred
