Are you a Physical Therapist (PT) looking for a rewarding opportunity to support students in a school-based setting? We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our school district team in Illinois. This role offers flexibility with both full-time and part-time opportunities available. You'll work alongside educators, families, and other professionals to help students improve mobility, strength, and overall independence in their academic environment.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine students’ physical therapy needs.

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to enhance students’ motor skills, coordination, and mobility.

Provide direct therapy services in individual and group settings.

Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to integrate therapeutic strategies into students' daily routines.

Assist with the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

Maintain accurate documentation of student progress while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.

Promote student participation in school activities, supporting independence and success.

Qualifications

Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) in Illinois (or eligibility for licensure).

Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.

Experience in a school or pediatric setting is preferred but not required.

Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Passion for working with children and supporting their growth and development.
