Physical Therapist Assistant - Bakersfield, CA - 25/26 School Year
ProCare Therapy is actively seeking a dedicated physical therapist assistant for the 2025-2026 academic year within one of our esteemed school districts. Please take a look at the details below regarding job responsibilities and benefits:
Position Details:
Supporting Mobility and Strength: Assisting students with exercises and activities to build strength, coordination, balance, and mobility.
Implementing Therapy Plans: Carrying out treatment plans designed by the PT, using therapeutic techniques to help students achieve their physical goals.
Equipment and Adaptations: Helping students use adaptive equipment like walkers, wheelchairs, or braces, and making adjustments to ensure proper fit and function.
Classroom and Playground Accessibility: Collaborating with staff to modify environments, ensuring students can safely and confidently navigate school spaces.
Monitoring Progress: Tracking student performance, documenting sessions, and reporting progress to the PT to help adjust treatment plans as needed.
