Physical Therapist – Part-Time – Burlington, MA
Sunbelt Staffing is currently seeking a licensed and compassionate Physical Therapist for a part-time, on-site position in a supportive school district located in Burlington, Massachusetts. This is a rewarding opportunity to help K-12 students improve their physical functioning and achieve greater independence in the school setting—all while enjoying a flexible schedule.
Responsibilities:
Conduct evaluations to assess students’ motor skills, mobility, posture, balance, and functional capabilities
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in coordination with IEP teams
Provide direct physical therapy services to students in accordance with their IEP goals
Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support students’ physical needs in the educational environment
Monitor student progress and adjust therapy interventions as needed
Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state, federal, and district guidelines
Provide training and support to school staff on mobility and positioning strategies
Qualifications:
Valid Massachusetts Physical Therapist license
Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred
Strong understanding of IEP processes and related special education laws
Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
Commitment to supporting diverse student populations in an inclusive school setting
