Job Overview:
We are seeking a Full-Time Physical Therapist for the 2024/2025 school year in Albertson, NY. This role involves working in a special education setting with a K-12 population, managing a caseload of 14-20 students. The position offers 32 hours per week with half-hour therapy sessions.

Responsibilities:

Provide physical therapy services to students in a special education setting

Develop and implement individualized therapy plans for each student

Conduct half-hour therapy sessions and track student progress

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student needs

Maintain accurate records and documentation of therapy sessions

Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning

Qualifications:

Valid Physical Therapist license in New York

Experience working with K-12 students in a special education setting preferred

Strong communication and organizational skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
