Job Requirements
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
Active Connecticut Physical Therapist license
Must hold or be eligible for Connecticut Department of Education certification
Completion of all district and state-mandated background checks
Prior school-based or pediatric experience preferred
Job Duties
Evaluate students to determine physical therapy needs related to educational goals
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Collaborate with IEP teams and provide input during meetings
Document services and progress according to school district policies
Support student participation in classroom and school activities through therapy interventions
