Job Overview:
ProCare Therapy is currently hiring a passionate Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team in Woodstock, VT, for the 2024-2025 school year. This part-time position is set to begin as soon as possible and continue through June 10, 2025. As a Physical Therapist, you will work 3-4 days per week, dedicating 25-30 hours to support a diverse caseload of 25 students ranging from PreK to 12th grade. This role is perfect for someone who is enthusiastic about making a difference in a school setting and is comfortable working onsite.

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide targeted physical therapy services to students according to their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to determine each student’s specific therapy needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with educational goals.
  • Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and school staff to ensure a holistic approach to student care.
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of all therapy sessions and student progress.
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings, providing professional insights and recommendations.

    Qualifications:

  • A Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • A valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Vermont.
  • Prior experience working with children in a school or pediatric setting is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • A strong commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
