Physical Therapist - Brookfield, CT Area

Location: Brookfield, CT Area
Position: Physical Therapist
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: End of School Year (EOSY)

Hours:

2-3 days per week

6.5-hour days (approximately 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM)

Schools Assigned:

3-4 schools in the Brookfield, CT area

Caseload ranges from Preschool to High School

Job Description:
The Physical Therapist will provide services to students with exceptional educational needs, working to improve, develop, restore, or maintain their active participation in self-maintenance, work, leisure, and play within educational environments. The therapist will serve as a related service personnel under state and federal law and regulations, ensuring the physical therapy services are aligned with the students' Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct physical therapy services to students with a range of needs

Collaborate with educational staff to support student development

Promote active participation in activities of daily living, schoolwork, and play

Manage and track progress according to IEP goals
