Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team in Vancouver, WA. This school-based role will involve providing physical therapy services to students with varying physical disabilities, helping them to improve their physical mobility, strength, and coordination to succeed in the academic environment.

Responsibilities:

Evaluate and assess students' physical abilities, limitations, and developmental levels to create individualized therapy plans.

Develop and implement treatment plans and interventions to address students' physical challenges.

Provide direct physical therapy services to students, both individually and in groups.

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and the IEP team to ensure a comprehensive approach to student care.

Document progress, maintain accurate records, and update treatment plans as necessary.

Participate in IEP meetings, offering expertise on physical therapy needs and recommended accommodations.

Train staff and parents on how to implement specific techniques and strategies to support students' physical needs throughout the day.

Qualifications:

Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.

Valid Washington state PT licensure.

Experience in a pediatric or school-based setting preferred.

Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently while being part of a collaborative team.
