Job Title: Physical Therapist - School-Based | Full-Time

Location: Davis, CA

Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist (PT) or PTA to join our team. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a school setting, providing occupational therapy services to students with diverse needs and contributing to their educational success and independence.

Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' motor skills, sensory processing abilities, and functional performance in school environments.

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals based on evaluation findings and IEP (Individualized Education Program) requirements.

Provide direct occupational therapy services, including therapeutic exercises, activities of daily living (ADL) training, sensory integration techniques, and adaptive equipment recommendations.

Qualifications:

Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.

Current license or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist.

Experience working with school-aged children preferred.

Knowledge of special education laws and regulations, including IDEA (Individuals with Disabilities Education Act).
