Calling on licensed Physical Therapists based in San Rafael, CA, who enjoy working with pediatrics, and want to work in a school setting! Soliant has partnered with several local school districts, and is seeking a contract Physical Therapist for spring semester AND next school year!

Scope of duties:

Provide therapy for students with Physical Therapy needs on their IEPs

Conduct evaluations for students referred for PT services

Differing levels of case management responsibilities: in some instances Districts will only need direct services, in others, PTs will be responsible for case management and attendance at IEP meetings

Maintain accurate records of student services, in accordance with District guidelines

Collect data on student progress

Consult with Special Education team on student goals, and recommend amendments if needed

Based on current caseload information, the time commitment is about 1 to 2 days a week. Applicants needing more work would need to be willing to cover several other school districts to get the hours they need.

Have a working knowledge of how Physical Therapy fits in with Special Education criteria in California public schools

Demonstrate great communication skills

Requirements:

Active California PT license
