Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist (PT) to join our school-based team in Boston, MA. The PT will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and providing therapy to students with physical impairments, helping them enhance their mobility, strength, and overall physical function to support their academic success and participation in school activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify physical impairments that affect students' ability to engage in school activities.

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address each student's physical therapy needs.

Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings, focusing on improving motor skills, strength, and mobility.

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to integrate physical therapy goals into the classroom and other school environments.

Participate in IEP meetings, contributing to the creation and review of student-specific goals and objectives.

Monitor and document student progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of evaluations, therapy sessions, and progress reports.

Qualifications:

Doctorate or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.

Valid Physical Therapist license or certification in Massachusetts.

Experience working in a school setting is highly desirable.

Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
