Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist (PT) for a school-based position in Lawrence, MA. The successful candidate will work with students to improve their physical abilities, helping them participate fully in their educational environment and achieve their academic goals.

Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments to evaluate students' physical abilities, motor skills, and mobility needs.

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on improving physical function and mobility.

Provide direct physical therapy services to students, including exercises, interventions, and adaptive strategies.

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support and monitor student progress.

Maintain detailed records of student evaluations, therapy sessions, and progress reports.

Participate in IEP meetings, offering expert recommendations for accommodations and interventions.

Educate school staff and parents on strategies and exercises to support students' physical development.

Qualifications:

Doctorate or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.

Valid Massachusetts PT license.

Previous experience in a school setting is preferred.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
