School-Based Physical Therapist (PT) - Lynn, MA

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist (PT) to join our school-based team in Lynn, MA. The PT will be responsible for assessing, planning, and providing therapy to students with physical and mobility challenges, helping them achieve greater independence and participation in school activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify students' needs related to physical and motor skills, including mobility, balance, and coordination.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support students' educational and functional goals.
• Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to integrate therapeutic strategies into classroom routines and other school activities.
• Participate in IEP meetings, contributing to the development and review of student-specific goals and objectives.
• Monitor and document student progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of evaluations, therapy sessions, and progress reports.

Qualifications:

• Doctoral or Master s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Valid Physical Therapist license or certification in Massachusetts.
• Experience working in a school setting is highly desirable.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
