School-Based Physical Therapist (PT) - Seattle, WA

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist (PT) to join our school-based team in Seattle, WA. The PT will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and providing therapy to students with physical impairments, helping them improve their mobility, strength, and overall physical function to support their educational participation and success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify physical impairments that affect students' ability to participate in school activities.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' physical therapy needs.
• Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings, focusing on improving motor skills, strength, and mobility.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to integrate physical therapy goals into the classroom environment.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development and review of student-specific goals and objectives.
• Monitor and document student progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of evaluations, therapy sessions, and progress reports.

Qualifications:

• Doctorate or Master s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Valid Physical Therapist license or certification in Washington.
• Experience working in a school setting is highly desirable.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
