Job Description:

Soliant is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) to join a dynamic school district in Weston, WV. The ideal candidate will provide therapeutic services to students, helping them achieve their physical goals and improve their ability to participate in educational activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive physical therapy assessments to identify students' motor and physical needs.

Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to address specific physical challenges.

Provide direct therapy services to students to improve their mobility, strength, and coordination.

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students' physical development and participation in school activities.

Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed to ensure effective outcomes.

Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans for students requiring physical therapy services.

Qualifications:

Master’s or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.

Valid West Virginia state licensure as a Physical Therapist.

Experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.

Strong knowledge of pediatric physical therapy and an understanding of school-based therapy practices.

Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
