School Physical Therapist - Part Time - Antioch, IL - (PT)

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Part-Time School Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team in the Antioch, IL area for the 2024/2025 school year. This position involves providing physical therapy services to students in a school setting.

Responsibilities:

• Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students' physical therapy needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Intervention and Therapy: Provide evidence-based physical therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings.
• Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, parents, and other school staff to develop and implement effective therapy strategies and support plans.
• IEP Development: Participate in the development, implementation, and review of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with physical therapy needs.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress, treatment plans, and other required documentation.
• Training and Support: Provide training and support to school staff and parents on physical therapy techniques and strategies.
• Professional Development: Stay current with research and best practices in the field of physical therapy and participate in ongoing professional development.

Requirements:

• Education: Master s degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Licensure: Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in Illinois.
• Experience: Previous experience working in a school setting is preferred.
• Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills; ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
