Job Opening: School-Based Physical Therapist

We are seeking a Physical Therapist to deliver school-based services to a diverse student population during the 2025–2026 school year. This position serves children from Pre-K through 12th grade with varying physical and developmental needs.

Position Overview:
The PT will handle a caseload of approximately 10–15 students including those diagnosed with Autism, intellectual disabilities, and developmental delays. Responsibilities include evaluations, therapy delivery, IEP collaboration, and communication with families and school staff.

Schedule:

Part-time (2–3 days/week) with the possibility to increase hours

Key Responsibilities:

Perform physical therapy assessments

Develop tailored treatment plans

Provide direct therapy services individually and in groups

Maintain documentation consistent with IDEA and school policies

Participate in IEP meetings and planning

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and families

Assist school staff with student mobility support

Candidate Requirements:

Valid Physical Therapy license or eligibility

Master’s or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy

School-based or pediatric experience preferred; new grads welcome

Knowledge of IEP and IDEA compliance beneficial

Excellent communication skills
