Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Physical Therapy required
  • Valid New Jersey Physical Therapist license
  • Experience working with children in school settings or related pediatric environments preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to adapt interventions for diverse student populations
  • Commitment to creating supportive, inclusive, and accessible learning environments
  • Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative PT services to students per their individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Assess, plan, and implement evidence-based interventions addressing gross motor skills, mobility, and functional independence
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to facilitate each student’s educational access and participation
  • Conduct screenings, evaluations, and progress monitoring
  • Document services provided and student progress according to regulatory and school district guidelines
  • Provide recommendations for equipment, modifications, and adaptive strategies as needed
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise in the development of student goals
