Seeking a dedicated professional to provide physical therapy assistant services across multiple school sites, supporting K-12 students. This contract role offers the chance to make a meaningful difference in a school setting, working both independently and collaboratively under remote supervision.

Key Qualifications:

Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license for South Carolina required

Experience in a school-based setting or with pediatric populations preferred

Comfortable working onsite, covering students from kindergarten through high school

Ability to work autonomously while accepting direction from a remotely located supervising PT

Skilled in adapting communication and therapeutic approaches to a diverse range of students

Familiarity with documentation and compliance within an educational environment

Core Responsibilities:

Deliver physical therapy interventions and support IEP goals for K-12 students

Collaborate with school staff, teachers, and families to support student development

Conduct sessions in-person at designated school sites, following established care plans

Document student progress and communicate regularly with the supervising PT via remote methods

Participate in team meetings and contribute to IEP processes as needed

Maintain compliance with state and district requirements
