A great school district in the Sudbury, Massachusetts area is now looking to hire a Physical Therapist (PT) for the 2026–2027 school year. This is a full-time, school-based contract position supporting students throughout a K–8 district.
The Physical Therapist will provide services across approximately 2–3 school locations and work collaboratively with teachers, families, and other related service professionals to help students access their educational environment and achieve their functional goals.

𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀:
· Provide school-based physical therapy evaluations, assessments, and direct services.
· Support K–8 students with mobility, balance, coordination, strength, positioning, and functional needs.
· Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs and IEP goals.
· Recommend appropriate adaptive equipment, positioning strategies, and accommodations as needed.
· Monitor student progress and adjust therapy services based on individual needs.
· Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with members of the educational team.
· Maintain accurate therapy documentation, progress reports, and student records.
· Collaborate with teachers, families, OTs, SLPs, special education staff, and other school-based professionals.
· Travel between approximately 2–3 assigned school locations within the district.
𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲:
· Previous school-based or pediatric Physical Therapy experience preferred.
· Experience working with elementary and middle school students is preferred.
· Experience supporting students with a variety of physical, developmental, and functional needs is a plus.
· Candidates should be comfortable providing services across multiple school locations.
𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻/𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀:
· Active Massachusetts Physical Therapist License required.
· Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program required.
· Must meet all Massachusetts and school district requirements for Physical Therapist practice.
