ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) for a full-time, school-based contract position in West Sumter, South Carolina.
This opportunity involves providing physical therapy services to a K–12 student population across multiple school sites throughout the district. The PT will work in an itinerant role, collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support students' physical development and access to their educational programs.
This is an excellent opportunity for a PT looking to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic school setting while serving students across a variety of grade levels and needs.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct physical therapy evaluations and assessments for students
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs and educational goals
• Provide direct physical therapy services to students across multiple school sites
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance records
• Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
Qualifications
• Active South Carolina Physical Therapist (PT) license required
• Doctorate or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program required
• Previous school-based experience preferred but not required
• Ability to travel between assigned school sites

• Assignment Dates: July 27, 2026 – May 24, 2027
