Make an impact in a vibrant educational setting, supporting students’ physical well-being and development as a contract Physical Therapist. This part-time, onsite opportunity places you in a collaborative school environment starting September 1, 2026, through mid-June 2027. Spend one day each week providing essential therapy services and fostering student success throughout the academic year.

Qualifications & Required Experience:

  • Current and active Physical Therapist license in Massachusetts
  • Previous experience in pediatric or school-based settings highly valued
  • Familiarity with developing and executing individualized treatment plans
  • Strong communication abilities for effective collaboration with educators, families, and students
  • Willingness to obtain additional state educational certifications if needed
  • Dedicated to upholding high ethical and professional standards
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct physical therapy services to students in accordance with prescribed plans
  • Assess and document student progress, adapting interventions as needed
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to tailor support for each student’s unique needs
  • Contribute to IEP meetings, offering expertise on mobility, adaptation, and access in the school setting
  • Educate school staff on best practices for student safety and physical accessibility
  • Maintain accurate and timely records that meet compliance standards
