This contract opportunity offers a part-time schedule—approximately 10 hours per month, with visits typically five times a month at two hours per day. The actual scheduling can be adjusted based on your professional assessment of the students' needs, allowing for flexibility and responsiveness.

Qualifications:

  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist
  • Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
  • Strong knowledge of best practices for physical therapy in educational contexts
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with educational staff and families
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Primary Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate students to determine their physical therapy needs and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Deliver therapeutic interventions and monitor progress toward established goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student development and participation
  • Maintain accurate, timely records of all evaluations, sessions, and communications
  • Participate in IEP meetings when necessary and help ensure compliance with educational regulations
