Step into an impactful role supporting K-5 students as a part-time Physical Therapist. Qualifications:

  • Valid and active Physical Therapist license in Connecticut
  • School-based or pediatric PT experience strongly preferred
  • Expertise in delivering therapy services in educational settings
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt approaches for a variety of physical and developmental needs
  • Comfortable with virtual interviews via Google Meets
  • Responsibilities:

  • Deliver physical therapy services to a diverse caseload of K–5 students (caseload may vary)
  • Evaluate, plan, and execute therapy interventions supporting students’ mobility, participation, and safety in the school setting
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to integrate therapy strategies into students’ daily routines
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation and progress reports in accordance with school policies
  • Attend IEP meetings and contribute to individualized education plans as needed
  • Stay current with best practices in school-based physical therapy
  • This position offers a supportive team dynamic, a manageable caseload within a single school site, and the chance to lead interventions that have a lasting positive impact.
