Make a meaningful impact as part of an Early Intervention team serving infants and toddlers from birth to age three. This contract opportunity is perfect for a physical therapist who enjoys working closely with young children, their families, and community caregivers. Services are delivered in natural settings—including the child’s home, childcare facilities, or our Early Intervention building at the request of families. The focus is on supporting each child’s growth in their most comfortable environment.

Key qualifications and experience:

  • Valid licensure as a Physical Therapist
  • Experience providing therapy for children ages birth to three highly preferred
  • Skill in conducting thorough assessments and evaluations (up to 3 students one day per week)
  • Comfort with direct, hands-on services for students and parent coaching in the home and community settings
  • Ability to provide goal development recommendations and write clear, educational goals
  • Proficient in tracking progress and data collection
  • Willingness to bill Medicaid, if eligible
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach with families and early childhood professionals
  • No case management or service coordination required—focus on hands-on therapy
  • Primary responsibilities:

  • Deliver personalized physical therapy services in-home, at childcare facilities, or at the Early Intervention center (as requested)
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations (typically one day per week with up to three students)
  • Support families by demonstrating therapeutic activities and goals to reinforce development
  • Document goal progress, collect data, and communicate results with the team
  • Comply with Medicaid billing protocols when possible
