Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid state license as a Physical Therapist
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
  • Previous experience working in school-based or pediatric settings is highly valued
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
  • Ability to adapt techniques to diverse needs and individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Commitment to maintaining accurate documentation and upholding confidentiality
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and assess students’ motor and functional skills
  • Develop and implement personalized therapy plans to enhance participation and independence in school activities
  • Deliver direct therapy services in individual and group sessions within school settings
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and other school staff to integrate therapy goals across the curriculum
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
  • Monitor student progress, adjust interventions as needed, and prepare comprehensive progress reports
