Embark on a rewarding summer opportunity supporting students in educational settings as a Physical Therapist. This contract role offers the chance to work in schools near Baltimore, MD, with a focus on both extended school year programs and infants/toddlers services. Enjoy a condensed workweek—Monday through Thursday only—with your weekends free.

There are two primary opportunities available:

  • Extended School Year (ESY): In-person, 4-day-per-week position from June 29th to July 30th (professional development on June 25th). Work 6-hour days (24 hours/week) in either special education or general education schools.
  • Infants and Toddlers Services/Assessments: Provide assessments and services from June 22nd to July 30th. Work 7-hour days (28 hours/week).
  • Key Qualifications:

  • Active Maryland professional licensure as a Physical Therapist.
  • Ability to provide license documentation upon request.
  • Experience supporting school-aged children or early intervention populations is a plus.
  • Ability to fulfill district credentialing requirements, including background check/fingerprinting and employment history review.
  • Comfort working on-site in school settings.
  • Willingness to participate in a prescreen interview process.
  • Responsibilities:

  • Deliver physical therapy services to assigned students based on individualized education plans or early intervention assessments.
  • Collaborate with educational staff, special educators, and families to develop and track student progress.
  • Conduct thorough evaluations and maintain accurate, timely documentation.
  • Participate in team meetings and professional development as scheduled.
  • Maintain compliance with all regulatory and district standards.
