Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid Physical Therapist (PT) licensure in Massachusetts
  • Experience or strong interest in working within a school-based setting
  • Knowledge of pediatric therapy techniques and IEP implementation
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to effectively manage a student caseload within the school environment
  • Previous ESY or special education experience is a plus
  • Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct physical therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs
  • Assess, develop, and implement individualized therapy plans and goals
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other school team members
  • Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Provide suggestions and training for staff to support student needs throughout the school day
  • Participate in IEP meetings, service planning, and team consultations as needed
