Clermont, FL
Bilingual Therapies Schools - PT Contract 1 day ago Apply

Make an impact this school year by providing essential physical therapy services to K-12 students in a dynamic educational setting. An immediate need exists for a dedicated Physical Therapist to support a diverse caseload through a contract position beginning as soon as possible and continuing through December 2026, with potential extension to late May 2027. Whether you’re seeking full-time or part-time hours, your skills are needed—one full-time (40 hours/week) or two to three part-time professionals will share responsibilities, so flexibility in scheduling is possible.

In this role, you’ll travel between multiple school sites each day, collaborating closely with another Physical Therapist and a PTA to support students (ages Pre-K to 12th grade) across several campuses. Both seasoned school-based PTs and those new to the educational field are encouraged to apply, though experience with school-aged populations is highly valued.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active, unencumbered Florida Physical Therapist license required
  • School-based experience strongly preferred, but not mandatory
  • Comfortable working with a wide range of student ages and needs (K-12, including some Pre-K)
  • Willingness to travel between sites each day
  • Ability to manage time independently in an itinerant setting
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver physical therapy services (direct and consultative) to a shared caseload of approximately 94 students
  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in coordination with staff and families
  • Maintain accurate documentation of services and progress notes
  • Collaborate with educators, administration, and families to support student participation
  • Complete all school- and district-required credentialing and documentation processes
  • This position offers the opportunity to work in a supportive atmosphere with flexibility for part-time arrangements. You’ll play a vital role in helping students reach their full potential.

Interviews are actively being conducted—don’t miss your chance! If you’re a compassionate, licensed Physical Therapist ready to make a difference in school communities, submit your application today for immediate consideration.
