Qualifications & Skills:

  • Active Illinois Physical Therapist (PT) license required
  • Experience in school-based or pediatric physical therapy strongly preferred
  • Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams

  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students with varying physical needs
  • Deliver direct therapy services and document student progress according to IEP mandates
  • Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and parents to integrate therapy goals into classroom routines
  • Provide education and training to staff and families regarding physical therapy interventions
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to IEP meetings as part of the student support team
