An exciting contract opportunity awaits an experienced Physical Therapist passionate about working in school settings. You’ll work onsite near Peabody, Massachusetts, providing specialized physical therapy services for one day each week during the academic year—from September 1, 2026, through June 14, 2027. Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Physical Therapist license in Massachusetts (active status required)
  • Strongly preferred: familiarity with school-based PT or pediatric experience
  • Additional Massachusetts educational certifications may be necessary
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, working effectively with students, educators, and families
  • Ability to adapt therapy goals to the educational context and individual student needs
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide onsite physical therapy services for students as outlined by individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and document progress
  • Collaborate with school teams to support physical access and participation in academic settings
  • Maintain thorough and timely student records and reports, ensuring compliance with all state and federal guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings when required and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
