Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students as a contract Physical Therapist supporting a K-12 school with two closely connected buildings in the Saxapahaw area. This role offers the opportunity to work with a small initial caseload, focusing on two students whose needs may expand over time. You will provide consistent care and help these students achieve their goals within a welcoming educational setting.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • Valid Physical Therapist licensure
  • Experience providing PT services in healthcare or educational settings
  • Understanding of school-based therapy practices
  • Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with staff and students
  • Adaptability and responsiveness to changing caseloads
  • What You'll Do:

  • Deliver direct physical therapy services to students based on their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Currently, serve two students: one requiring weekly sessions to make up for previous absences (1 hour/week), and another on a less frequent basis (once per reporting period)
  • Work a minimum of 2 hours per week, with the opportunity to increase hours as more needs arise throughout the year
  • Maintain accurate records and provide updates on student progress
  • Liaise professionally with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure integrated care
  • Travel between two buildings (conveniently located across the street from each other)
