Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active Physical Therapist license in Minnesota (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Experience working in school-based or pediatric environments strongly preferred
  • Solid understanding of IEPs, ADA compliance, and individualized support plans
  • Strong communication and organizational skills when collaborating with faculty, families, and other therapeutic professionals
  • Ability to adapt interventions to a diverse student population across a range of ages and abilities
  • Familiarity with relevant documentation and reporting requirements
  • Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized PT plans to address students’ unique motor and functional needs
  • Deliver direct and consultative physical therapy services in accordance with IEPs and educational goals
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care and student growth
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to student planning
  • Provide recommendations for accommodations and adaptive equipment to maximize student participation and safety
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all interventions, progress notes, and communications
