Key Qualifications:

  • Active and current Massachusetts Physical Therapist Assistant licensure
  • Previous experience supporting children and adolescents in schools strongly preferred
  • Exceptional communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work seamlessly within multidisciplinary teams
  • Genuine enthusiasm for helping students achieve their physical and academic goals
  • Strong organizational skills for managing documentation and caseload responsibilities
  • Role and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver in-school physical therapy services according to students’ IEPs and program needs
  • Collaborate with educators, school therapists, and parents to implement therapy goals and strategies
  • Maintain accurate records of sessions, progress, and student outcomes
  • Adapt interventions to a variety of student needs and educational settings
  • Foster a positive, encouraging atmosphere for every child
  • Commit to 6 hours per week through the contract duration, with a projected end date of June 21, 2027
