Qualifications:

Active Physical Therapy license in the State of Nebraska

Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required

Minimum of 1 year of relevant clinical experience as a physical therapist after graduation (candidates with at least 6 months may be considered)

Strong knowledge of evidence-based rehabilitation practices

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for multidisciplinary collaboration

Ability to create individualized care plans and document patient progress effectively

Responsibilities:

Evaluate, plan, and administer physical therapy interventions in an acute hospital setting

Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other allied health professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes

Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed

Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises, safety, and recovery processes

Maintain compliance with hospital policies, state licensure requirements, and professional standards

Contribute to case conferences and participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
