A skilled physical therapist is needed to deliver high-quality therapy services in a hospital environment. This contract position focuses on developing and implementing treatment programs to help patients regain or enhance their physical, social, and mental functioning while supporting departmental goals. The role collaborates closely with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate patients and design individualized physical therapy plans according to physician prescriptions and departmental standards.

Administer evidence-based therapeutic interventions aimed at improving mobility, strength, balance, and overall function.

Collaborate as a co-leader within interdisciplinary teams, participating in case conferences and patient group sessions.

Monitor and document patient progress, revising treatment goals and modalities as needed.

Educate patients and their families on therapy techniques, safety precautions, and home exercise programs.

Participate actively in departmental initiatives to meet performance and quality improvement objectives.

Ensure compliance with regulatory and ethical standards in all aspects of patient care.

Qualifications:

Valid and current Physical Therapist license.

Graduation from an accredited PT program.

Previous hospital-based experience is strongly preferred.

Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in interdisciplinary healthcare settings.

Exceptional communication and organizational skills.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
