Qualifications-
Active Florida Physical Therapist (PT) license
Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
Pediatric or school-based experience preferred
Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
Ability to work full-time.
Primary Responsibilities
Evaluate students' gross motor skills, mobility, strength, balance, coordination, and functional movement.
Develop and implement individualized physical therapy treatment plans based on each student's educational needs.
Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student participation and success in the school environment.
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development, progress monitoring, and therapy recommendations.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and student progress in accordance with Florida educational guidelines.
Recommend adaptive equipment, positioning strategies, and mobility supports to maximize student independence.
Provide education, resources, and support to families, caregivers, and school staff.
